TECHLITE, a manufacturer for more than 50 years, located in Tempe, AZ is seeking a results-driven Acoustics Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the acoustic panel and specialty insulation industries.
Lead business development, client engagement, technical project execution, and sales development for our industry-leading acoustic treatment and insulation product systems.
Job Specific Responsibilities- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and company growth goals
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and industry contacts
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts
- Identify key trends in the industry while analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, and operations) to align customer needs with capabilities
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients
- Report on sales metrics, pipeline activity, and market insights to leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering or closely related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development, project management, or B2B sales in Manufacturing and/or Architectural Acoustics
- 2+ years of prior experience and understanding of Architectural Acoustics Sound Shaping and Sound Dampening
- Excellent technical skills with MS Office and other programs as needed
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the manufacturing sector for our Acoustics and Insulation products

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Net Suite, or similar)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
- Reports to the General Manager
- Salary Position
- May occasionally travel domestically to customers or trade shows.
