The Project Manager coordinates and advances strategic and operational projects across the Division of Community Development. Community Development serves learners through noncredit programs, including high school equivalency preparation, English language acquisition, career training, and other community-driven classes designed to expand access to education and economic opportunity. A central goal of the division is to support learners in these noncredit pathways as they transition to college certificate and degree programs and to careers that lead to family-sustaining wages.
This position manages a diverse portfolio of initiatives for the division, including technology projects, signature student events, noncredit-to-credit partnerships, professional development, grant coordination, 4DX, and other division and college priorities. The Project Manager develops and maintains project plans, dashboards, timelines, and reports; facilitates communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders; and provides regular updates to division leadership to support effective implementation, accountability, and continuous progress on division priorities.
Essential Functions
30% - Coordinate division-wide project planning and execution:
Develops and maintains project scope, objectives, workplans, timelines, milestones, and implementation schedules for assigned projects. Coordinates multiple concurrent initiatives and monitors progress to support the timely completion of deliverables.
25% - Maintain dashboards, documentation, and leadership reporting:
Creates and maintains project dashboards, status reports, timelines, meeting materials, and related documentation. Tracks progress, prepares updates, and provides regular reporting to division leadership and other stakeholders.
20% - Facilitate stakeholder coordination and cross-functional communication:
Coordinates communication, meetings, and follow-up across internal and external stakeholders. Supports alignment of roles, timelines, expectations, and deliverables across projects and initiatives.
15% - Support special initiatives, events, and grant-related coordination:
Provides project management support for signature student events, division professional learning events, noncredit-to-credit partnerships, grant reporting, grant application coordination, 4DX goal activities, and other strategic initiatives assigned by leadership.
10% - Monitor project budgets, issues, and operational follow-through:
Assists with tracking project-related budgets, expenditures, risks, issues, and operational needs. Supports problem-solving, follow-up, and completion of administrative processes related to assigned projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
