Job Description SummaryThe Purchasing Coordinator performs purchase order (PO) processing and coordination activities for products and services supporting the Tempe site.
Essential Job Functions- Process and maintain POs for products and services across various departments, including R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing and others.
- Communicates daily with departments placing orders and related suppliers for order tracking and delivery confirmation.
- Responsible for adding new vendors to the system by following quality guidelines and appropriate approval processes.
- Work collaboratively to resolve issues and remain calm and professional. Effective and clear communication to broad groups of associates, including management, is a critical component of this position.
- Enforce all applicable purchasing and SOX policies. Participate in audit activities.
- Support Accounts Payable inquiries on supplier payment.
- Process division procurement card requests and perform month‑end reconciliation.
- Administrative duties as assigned.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of purchasing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current purchasing practices.
- ERP systems experience a plus, JDE preferred.
- Excel (including formulas), Office, Email.
