Major Duties

  • Carries out relatively complex, extensive, high profile activities e.g., direct interaction with committees and more senior management.
  • Technically competent to act as first point of reference for day‑to‑day queries and serves as liaison to related areas.
  • May lead projects and/or train lower‑level staff.
  • Focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert.
  • Knowledge

    Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills.

    Experience

    Five or more years of related business experience.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary range: $70,965 – $120,555 (USD). This range is a good‑faith estimate of base pay.

    Benefits include retirement (401(k) and pension), health and welfare (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well‑being benefits. Northern Trust also offers a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
