The Arizona Cardinals are seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to lead the organization's enterprise-wide risk management and insurance programs. This strategic individual contributor will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, financing, and mitigating risks across multiple business entities while partnering with executive leadership to protect the organization's assets and support long-term growth. This role oversees all aspects of the organization's insurance portfolio, captive insurance company, contractual risk transfer, claims administration, construction risk management, and enterprise risk initiatives.
The position reports to the CFO and will work closely with Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Development, and external insurance brokers, carriers, captive manager and advisors. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced risk professional who enjoys building programs, influencing executive decision-making, and operating across a diverse portfolio of businesses. This position offers the opportunity to build and lead a sophisticated enterprise risk management program supporting one of the NFL's premier organizations and its affiliated businesses.
The successful candidate will influence strategic decisions across professional sports, concessions, aviation and real estate development while working directly with executive leadership on some of the organization's most significant initiatives.
Job Duties
The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager will have the daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
At least eight (8) years of progressive risk management and insurance experience. Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM, or RIMS-CRMP preferred Demonstrated experience managing large commercial insurance programs. Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance structures. Experience with enterprise risk management principles. Knowledge of contractual risk transfer and indemnification. Excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Background working with brokers, underwriters, and executive leadership teams. Experience managing captive insurance companies preferred. Experience with construction and real estate development risk preferred. Experience in professional sports, entertainment, hospitality, aviation, or other complex multi-entity organizations preferred. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen Executive presence and sound judgment with strong negotiation and relationship management skills and the ability to influence Highly organized and detail-oriented Collaborative leadership style Strong financial and analytical capabilities Excellent project management skills Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays;
