Proposal Manager Tempe, AZ
Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Proposal Manager to join their team. You will be part of the Sales / Proposal Management organization supporting cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Pricing, Program Management and D&S functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $34.16 /hr
What's the Job?
- Manage the proposal process from cradle to grave for competitive and non-competitive bids
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop compliant, persuasive, and winning proposals under tight deadlines
- Analyze RFP requirements and define compliant response structures, outlines, and deliverable plans
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules, planning documents, compliance matrices, and review cycles
- Coordinate reviews, reporting metrics, process improvements, and post-submittal updates
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, or related fields (e.g., Sales, Pricing, Program Management, Engineering)
- U.S. citizenship required due to contractual requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional and fast-paced technical teams
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations
