The JobThe Energy Program Associate coordinates the full lifecycle of PEC's incentive, rebate, and grant programs, primarily supporting EVSE projects, from initial research through final payment. This role connects the Sales, Project Management, and Accounting teams with external utility and government programs, producing funding estimates, preparing applications, and tracking projects through to payment with a high degree of accuracy.
This position is based in-person in our Phoenix, AZ office.
The hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $62,000
Core Responsibilities Program Research & Qualification- Research utility and government incentive and grant programs for electric vehicle chargers and commercial lighting, and provide funding estimates using program tools and information.
- Assist the Sales team in researching and scoping EV charger and commercial lighting incentives, rebates, and grants, and understand the policies and procedures of programs in new territories.
- Work with the Sales team to verify qualification of proposed equipment against program requirements.
- Prepare and submit incentive, rebate, and grant application documents for projects, and coordinate the full incentive and grant program lifecycle through to payment.
- Compile application materials, Excel-based energy savings and incentive calculators, and supporting documentation based on PEC project information to prepare for submittal.
- Facilitate the engineering review process with energy program staff and respond to requests for information.
- Analyze bills of material, change orders, and technical project documentation to update programs on changes in scope and product specification.
- Work with Sales and Project Management teams to coordinate required site inspections.
- Track project statuses with a high level of accuracy within the PEC project management platform.
- Coordinate with Sales and Project Management teams, customer stakeholders, and energy program contacts to move applications forward.
- Monitor energy program communications and respond promptly to program requests for additional project information.
- Track and update program changes in the internal database as assigned.
- Prepare project invoices and final documentation for programs upon project completion.
