Superintendent- Construction- Hawaii

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced construction Superintendent to supervise craft employees and ensure projects are safely completed on time. This role requires excellent communication skills and collaboration with craft workers, job teams, and engineers across Weeks Marine projects in Hawaii/Pacific region.

• Supervise crew(s) and craft workers.
• Manage productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with engineers and job teams to determine project needs.
• Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to ensure smooth workflow.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties.
• Assist in schedule planning, craft labor needs, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Track material stock and orders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Perform additional ad‑hoc assignments as directed.

• 10+ years in construction industry, 5‑10 years supervisory.
• Knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure and marine infrastructure preferred.
• Project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges, or other waterfront structures.
• Ability to run multiple crews across various scopes.
• Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Experience with cranes preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Effective communication with supervisors and employees.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Work hours:
  
  normal operating hours; overtime and weekends as needed.
• Field role: may work at various locations and conditions.

Base Compensation: $138,000/yr – $144,000/yr. Actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skill set, and location.
