Job Description
We are hiring! AtkinsR alis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our office in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities- Supports senior scheduling staff, the project team and stakeholders with time management and control.
- Develops and updates summary‑level and detailed schedules.
- Creates lists of design, procurement, construction and post‑construction activities based on review of design documents, site conditions, and discussions with owners, design consultants and contractors.
- Identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long‑lead procurement items.
- Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints.
- Develops realistic activity durations based on production rates and manpower.
- Assigns resources (cost, labor or material) to activities and creates cash‑flow reports and resource histograms.
- Evaluates critical and near‑critical path activity sequences.
- Assesses actual progress through site inspections.
- Identifies schedule changes and trends.
- Develops earned‑value reports, suggests corrective actions and recovery plans for delays.
- Reviews architect and contractor prepared schedules.
- Prepares post‑construction as‑built schedules and lessons‑learned reports.
- Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Works independently on assignments and makes technical decisions.
- Provides supervisory direction to junior technical staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus four years of relevant experience.
- Preferred certifications: AACE, PMI or CMAA.
- Strong to excellent understanding of CPM concepts, earned‑value concepts, and Primavera scheduling products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- High level of articulation and logical approach to problem solving.
