Construction Estimator
Phoenix, AZ | On-Site
A well-established general contractor based in Phoenix, AZ area, specializing in high-quality hotel, retail, and commercial projects, is seeking a Construction Estimator with experience working with a general contractor to join its team.
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenant improvement and small ground-up construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities- Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment
- Utilize estimating software to develop accurate project budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather competitive pricing and bid information
- Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records to support future estimates
- Work closely with project managers and internal teams to align estimates with project goals
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining project quality and integrity
- 3+ years of experience with a general contractor or framing company
- Proficiency with construction estimating software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with subcontractors and vendors
- Experience estimating tenant improvement and small ground-up construction projects
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
