Role DescriptionThe Superintendent, PM role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tempe, AZ, responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating schedules, supervising field activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role involves conducting site inspections, addressing issues in real time, and maintaining clear communication with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.
The Superintendent, PM will also manage project documentation, support logistics and material deliveries, and uphold TEPCON's standards for quality and performance in occupied corporate environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management and Inspection to effectively plan, oversee, and verify construction work.
- Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to coordinate materials, subcontractors, and schedules efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management to organize site operations, deliveries, and resource allocation.
- Experience in commercial or corporate facility construction, especially in occupied environments, is highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes, with proven supervisory experience.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving, and organization skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with construction management software and digital documentation tools; ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
