Customer Service & Administrative Support

This position is responsible for interacting with existing, new, and potential customers to fulfill orders with a superior level of customer service. Must be a team player working with other departments as needed. Acts as the liaison between the company and customers to overall exceed customer satisfaction. Assist the Accounting Manager with bookkeeping tasks.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:

    • Manage customer accounts, build relationships with new/current customers for overall customer satisfaction, increase sales, and increase customer retention

    • Process and review customer purchase orders thoroughly and accurately into the ERP system per Customer Related Processes procedures

    • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

    • Coordinate with other departments to determine lead time on standard, custom, and engineering project orders

    • Prepare quotes or make recommendations to customers on products and services

    • Investigate and resolve customer satisfaction concerns

  • Administrative Assistant:

    • Provide back-office support for department managers

    • Review and confirm pricing accuracy for customer purchases and vendor purchases

    • Assist the Accounting manager with daily tasks such as emailing customer invoices, processing vendor invoices, and processing customer payments

    • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team

  • Computer skills, including but not limited to:
    Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

  • Any experience with an ERP system is preferred but not required.

  • Positive attitude and ability to cultivate positive responses in others (internal/external)

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • 2+ years' sales or administrative experience

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00
