Annuity Operations Support Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join a growing Annuity Operations Support team. This role is responsible for supporting financial advisors by providing assistance with applications, account funding, rollover requests, required documentation, and online platform navigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service and phone support experience who are interested in building a career within the financial services industry. This position is focused on operational support and customer service, not sales or investment advice.

Key Responsibilities

+ Handle inbound calls from financial advisors regarding annuity applications and account processing.

+ Assist with application completion and documentation requirements.

+ Provide support with funding methods, rollovers, and form selection.

+ Guide users through platform navigation and system-related questions.

+ Review submitted information for completeness and accuracy.

+ Accurately document customer interactions and updates.

+ Perform administrative and data entry tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

+ Follow established operational and compliance procedures.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve processing issues.

+ Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications Required

+ Previous customer service experience.

+ Experience supporting customers over the phone.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

+ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

+ Proficiency with computer applications and web-based systems.

+ High attention to detail.

Preferred

+ Experience in banking, insurance, financial services, or call center environments.

+ Knowledge of retirement accounts, rollovers, or financial industry terminology.

+

Experience with data entry, administrative support, or operations-related work.

Work Environment

+ Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility.

+ Occasional in-office attendance may be required during training and team meetings.

+ Team-oriented environment with structured onboarding and ongoing support.

Training

+ Comprehensive training program provided.

+ Approximately 4-6 weeks of onboarding and role-specific training.

+ Opportunity to learn financial services operations and industry processes from experienced professionals.

What Success Looks Like

+ Providing excellent customer service on every interaction.

+ Managing approximately 25-30 inbound calls per day.

+ Accurately processing information and maintaining detailed records.

+ Learning complex processes and systems quickly.

+ Supporting financial advisors with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.13 - $24.13/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
