We’re looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator who can work in a Jacobs office or remotely. In this role you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ businesses, including semiconductor manufacturing facilities and hyper‑scaled data‑center facilities. You’ll be part of a vibrant, dynamic team delivering world‑class designs for well‑known clients around the globe. Your work will shape telecommunications systems design documentation for the client’s advanced facilities.

As a Senior BIM Coordinator in the LSS Department, you will support both departmental and project needs for BIM content, organization, and processes. The role is a 25/75% split between department support and project support. Department responsibilities include maintaining our library of Revit content, our Bluebeam toolbox, documenting BIM and markup standards, and providing training to staff. Project responsibilities include providing resources for new projects, adapting BIM and markup processes, and training new project staff.

You will work with the LSS Project BIM Lead on project setup, review, and audits, and may support multiple projects simultaneously.

This position offers growth in the Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks design platforms and deeper knowledge of the LSS design industry. You will create fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L) and 2D construction drawings, collaborating with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers under one Jacobs roof. You will use the Jacobs design methods to transform senior team design intent into constructable, clash‑free deliverables.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of BIM design experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Telecom/LSS design and construction industry
• Very good organizational skills
• Very good communication and leadership skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• High proficiency with Bluebeam
• Proficient with Navisworks
• Ability to estimate hours required for modeling efforts based on building size
• Willingness to learn new things
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role

• 10 years of Revit and 3 years of AutoCAD design experience
• Understanding of industrial type facilities
• Experience mentoring fellow BIM design staff

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $. Pay is hourly based on hours worked; individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
