The Structural Design Technician supports the development of structural models and drawings for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabrication and support facilities.
This hybrid role requires being based near Phoenix, AZ, working in office at least two days per week. Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketches
- Produce complete drawings or portions of drawing sets for assigned scope
- Apply department and client standards with normal review and feedback
- Take ownership of assigned scope and verify accuracy of own work prior to submission
- Support coordination with related disciplines and participate in QA/QC or BIM processes
- Execute routine tasks independently after initial direction
- Seek guidance when scope or standards are unclear
- Support team members and advance design automation skills
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design
- 2+ years of drafting/design experience in the structural field
- 1+ years of Revit experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent
- 3 years of Revit experience
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
- Experience designing traditional steel and concrete structures
- Experience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related
