Hospitalist Physician (MD or DO) (Locum Tenens)
Location: Arizona
Schedule: Block schedule with day rounding and nocturnist coverage; schedule varies
Position Overview
Hospital medicine coverage supporting adult inpatient care in a community acute care hospital. Providers should be comfortable with independent clinical decision making and collaborating with specialty services.
Clinical Scope
- Inpatient rounding and admissions
- Nocturnist coverage responsibilities may include admissions and cross coverage
- EKG interpretation competency required
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (per site)
- DEA registered to Arizona address if required for the role
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
