Rate: $2,100 per session

Position Summary:

The Student Services Coordinator assists the SEA Principal in providing professional leadership to organize, administer, supervise Special Education services.

Essential Functions:

* Attends all SEA planning meetings.

* Monitors all district-wide registration of special need students for completion and accuracy.

* Consults with counselors at student's home school to verify accuracy of course selection.

* Works with student's home school counselor to determine proper placement in courses.

* Consults with teachers, staff and parents to enhance their effectiveness in helping students learn.

* Daily monitors students' progress in Edgenuity and works with teachers, staff and parents to enhance student learning.

* Responds daily to emails and/or telephone calls from parents.

* Monitors credit completion for summer graduation.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate with a core content approved area and/or endorsement, preferred
