Job Description
Mentor Kids USA is hiring a Program Coordinator to lead our Tempe Promise Neighborhood after-school and summer program serving K–8 students and their families. This is a relational leadership role for someone who is dependable, proactive, and passionate about working with kids and families in a growing community-based program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site leadership and daily program coordination
- Support and supervise teachers and volunteers
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Support student behavior using relational practices
- Communicate proactively with families and schools
- Contribute to Mentor Kids social media weekly and write monthly student Impact Stories
- Strong reliability and follow-through
- Relational maturity and calm leadership
- Initiative and ownership
- Alignment with Mentor Kids’ mission and values
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
- Experience working with children, families, or community programs preferred
