Rate: $2,100 per session
Position SummaryThe Student Services Coordinator assists the SEA Principal in providing professional leadership to organize, administer, supervise Special Education services.
Essential Functions- Attends all SEA planning meetings.
- Monitors all district-wide registration of special need students for completion and accuracy.
- Consults with counselors at student's home school to verify accuracy of course selection.
- Works with student's home school counselor to determine proper placement in courses.
- Consults with teachers, staff and parents to enhance their effectiveness in helping students learn.
- Daily monitors students' progress in Edgenuity and works with teachers, staff and parents to enhance student learning.
- Responds daily to emails and/or telephone calls from parents.
- Monitors credit completion for summer graduation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate with a core content approved area and/or endorsement, preferred.
