AMS Impact Group is seeking an Enrollment Expansion Specialist to support multi-state growth and ensure operational excellence in student registration, enrollment systems, and compliance processes. This role is critical in states where AMS operates a single campus or is preparing to launch new schools. The Enrollment Expansion Specialist will research state enrollment requirements, build scalable registration systems, implement high-integrity data workflows, and support campus teams in maintaining compliance with state and federal reporting standards.
This position serves as a shared services partner to campus leaders and works closely with the Director of Student Registration to ensure consistent, accurate, and expansion-ready enrollment systems across the organization.
- Research and interpret state-specific enrollment requirements and develop compliant enrollment policies for new and expanding states.
- Partner with leadership to design scalable enrollment and registration processes that support campus growth.
- Collaborate with the Director of Student Registration to prepare systems and workflows for new school launches and transitions.
- Develop deep expertise in student information systems (SIS), application, and registration platforms.
- Build and implement workflows to ensure accurate student registration and data integrity.
- Monitor student data across SIS, state reporting systems, and internal platforms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Identify data integrity errors and reconcile discrepancies in required state reports.
- Support continuous improvement of data quality processes in alignment with Department of Education requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for registration-related inquiries within assigned states.
- Provide initial and ongoing training to campus registrars.
- Lead regular registrar meetings and maintain related documentation (agendas and minutes).
- Provide remediation training as necessary to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot SIS-related issues and serve as liaison to the Director of Student Information Systems for complex technical matters.
- Manage student registration processes including application processing, enrollment verification, and data entry.
- Support campus teams in maintaining accurate attendance and registration records.
- Assist with advanced scheduling and collaborate with school leaders to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Prepare and provide records and reports for external audits and state reporting requirements.
- Conduct monthly attendance audits.
- Reconcile new school year registration data between SIS and registration platforms.
- Conduct informal audits of campus enrollment processes and procedures.
- Communicate audit findings to identified staff and support corrective action planning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in student registration, data management, or school operations
- Experience with student information systems (Power School, Infinite Campus, or similar platforms)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement efficient, scalable workflows
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-directed with strong initiative and ownership mindset
- Ability to collaborate across campuses and departments in a fast-paced environment
- Hybrid schedule (Arizona-based preferred)
- Local and out-of-state travel required in support of campus expansion and compliance needs
- Work is performed in both office and campus settings
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
