Middle School/High School Teacher (On‑Site Classroom Instructor with Virtual Support)

This is not a remote role. Candidates must be available to begin within 2–4 weeks.

Pinnacle Charter Schools, operated by MGRM Pinnacle, is a Cognia‑accredited network of alternative, for‑profit charter schools serving students across Arizona since 1995. We operate a year‑round instructional model that blends online coursework with structured, in‑person academic support.

Our students are often credit‑deficient or seeking a more personalized path to graduation. Our charter model is built on individualized learning plans, relationship‑based support, and clear academic accountability—creating an environment where students can re‑engage and complete their diplomas.

We are seeking a strong classroom leader to support students at our Tempe site.

This is a site‑based position focused on:

• Delivering targeted 1‑on‑1 and small‑group instruction
• Maintaining a structured, focused classroom environment
• Monitoring academic pacing and implementing timely interventions
• Supporting students toward consistent course completion and graduation

You will also maintain a small roster of online students and may participate in occasional outreach efforts that support enrollment growth.

This role is ideal for educators who thrive in smaller, relationship‑driven settings while maintaining high expectations and accountability.

• Provide individualized academic support aligned to student learning plans.
• Reinforce behavioral expectations and maintain classroom structure.
• Track student progress and intervene when academic or attendance concerns arise.
• Maintain accurate attendance, intervention, and student records.
• Communicate consistently with students and families.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in professional development.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
• Arizona Teaching Certificate or at least 25 credit hours in the applicable subject area.
• Classroom experience (alternative or at‑risk settings preferred).
• Strong classroom management and professional judgment.
• Comfortable working in a non‑traditional, year‑round academic environment.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and LMS platforms.
• Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
• A mission‑driven mindset, with empathy for students facing personal or academic challenges.
