Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator – After-School & Summer Program (Tempe) Mentor Kids USA is hiring a Program Coordinator to lead our Tempe Promise Neighborhood after-school and summer program serving K–8 students and their families. This is a relational leadership role for someone who is dependable, proactive, and passionate about working with kids and families in a growing community-based program.

This is an 8-hour-per-day position, year-round School Year

• Remaining daily hours:
  Completed outside of on-site time through planning, communication, meetings, reporting, and preparation
• Fridays:
  Full workday completed through flexible work

• Remaining daily hours:
  Completed through planning, prep, meetings, and program needs
• Fridays:
  Full workday completed through flexible work

On-site schedules shift seasonally, but the expectation of eight hours of work per day remains the same throughout the year.

• Provide on-site leadership and daily program coordination
• Support and supervise teachers and volunteers
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Communicate proactively with families and schools
• Contribute to Mentor Kids social media weekly and write monthly student Impact Stories

• Strong reliability and follow-through
• Relational maturity and calm leadership
• Initiative and ownership
  
  Alignment with Mentor Kids’ mission and values
• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

Experience working with children, families, or community programs preferred.
