The Instructional Services Coordinator Sr. plans, coordinates, analyzes, and evaluates Community Development programming that supports adult learners. These programs serve Adult Education (AE) students working toward a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or greater English proficiency as they transition from noncredit instruction into credit career training and college credit coursework. This role leads the implementation, coordination, and expansion of transition models across in-person and virtual locations, including integrated education and training (IET) pathways, college-readiness supports, and credit-bearing course opportunities.
The position coordinates cross-functional collaborations with academic affairs, student affairs, enrollment services, workforce development, career services, and partner colleges. The Coordinator Sr. serves as a subject‑matter expert in career training curriculum and models and ensures compliance with regulations and policies. The Coordinator Sr. also uses data to improve student access, persistence, and credential attainment.
- 30% – Monitors student scheduling, enrollment, attendance, persistence, and outcomes across transition programming, including IET pathways, college‑readiness coursework, and other credit‑bearing opportunities. Coordinates course scheduling and rosters with academic and student services partners. Collects, analyzes, and presents program data to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements that strengthen adult learners’ credential attainment in career training pathways as well as the transition into and completion of credit coursework.
- 25% – Identifies, researches, and helps design new transition opportunities, including IET pathways, credit coursework, and scalable college‑readiness models. Makes recommendations to division leadership regarding program offerings, implementation strategies, and student supports. Develops and updates implementation plans, policies, and procedures to support expansion across locations. Collaborates with teams across workforce development, career services, and enrollment services and consults with partner colleges to align outreach, recruitment, onboarding, and student preparation.
- 25% – Supervises instructional staff delivering career training and transition programming, including full‑time and part‑time employees as assigned.
