Academic Life Coordinator – Tempe, Arizona
The University of Mary invites applications for a full‑time, 12‑month position located at its Mary College at ASU campus. The Academic Life Coordinator supports the growth and formation of students and seminarians in the university’s Arizona‑based undergraduate programs. The role involves recruitment, enrollment, and retention of undergraduate students on‑site in Tempe, student academic formation and front‑office services, event planning and execution, and outreach to high schools, parishes, and other events.
The coordinator may also support recruiting initiatives for the University of Mary’s Arizona‑based graduate programs.
The Academic Life Coordinator is the key steward of a community of undergraduate scholars, promoting a culture of Catholic thought and life. During the academic year the position resides in or near Tempe, Arizona. The coordinator participates in academic programming as needed.

- Required:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university - Preferred:
Degree in Catholic Studies or related field
- Required:
Demonstrable grasp of the Catholic imaginative and intellectual tradition - Preferred: 3 years of experience as a classroom instructor (high school or university level)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively plan, balance, and maintain a responsible budget
- Ability to prepare professional, educational, and financial documents and reports using computers, projectors, and other electronic tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications
Supports implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae and promotes hospitality in the Office of Academic Affairs, aligning with the Benedictine guidance.
