Job DescriptionTITLE: Noon Aide
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide safety and assistance to children in lunchrooms and school grounds.
QUALIFICATIONS- Education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience working with and/or supervising children
- State of Arizona Identity Verified (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- No previous experience required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensuring safety of students in lunchrooms and school grounds.
- Counsel and/or intervene with students to ensure acceptable behavior.
- Report observations and/or incidents relating to students to appropriate school personnel.
- Respond to emergency situations to address safety concerns.
- Escorting students to and from classrooms.
- Assisting students in lunchroom and/or school grounds.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks (clean up spills, floor, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of District policies and regulations.
- Skill in interacting with students, staff and parents.
- Ability to use equipment such as walkie talkie, brooms, mops or related items.
- Ability to enforce school and/or District rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with students, parents and staff.
- Potential physical harm
- Exposure to outdoor elements
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pulling, or running.
- Push/pull, lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
- May be required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Position requires continuous standing and/or walking.
