About the Role
Sun Soft Online is seeking a Student Services Technician for a contract opportunity with a Tempe-area community college. As part of the Student Engagement and Recruitment Team, you'll support the admissions and enrollment of dual-enrollment students (high schoolers taking college courses), working alongside the director, site coordinators, and success coaches. Most work is in person at partnering high schools across the valley during school hours.
Essential Functions
- Provide admissions and enrollment support for dual-enrollment students using the Student Information System (90%)
- Support other early-college activities, including outreach and customer service to students via text, phone, and email (10%)
Must-Haves
- 1+ year working in secondary or higher education
- Demonstrated experience working with students
- Customer service experience using technology
Nice to Have
- Experience using a Student Information System to complete processes
- Must be local to the Phoenix/Tempe area (current location must be listed on resume)
- Reliable transportation for travel to partner high schools across the valley
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available for an in-person interview within one week
- Able to start within two weeks of an offer
- Background check required
