The Teacher is distinguished from other classes by the focus on educating students through classroom instruction as well as through specialized education and skills development programs in schools and throughout the District as Teacher Specialists.
Job Qualifications:
Arizona Elementary Teaching certificate or Secondary Teaching (for grades 6th-8th) certificate and a bilingual endorsement preferred. Spanish proficiency (reading, writing, oral) by an accredited university assessment. Interviews for this position will be conducted in Spanish. SEI endorsement preferred. Licensing/Certification Requirements:
Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Employment Information: 2026-27 school year; 20 hrs/per week; 194 work days (216 day teacher calendar)
