Academic Interventionist Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above;
Valid Arizona Teaching Certification and five years of teaching experience;
Knowledge and experience in implementing Response to Intervention;
Knowledge and experience in the development and evaluation of academic interventions Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. Certified Future Requirement K-5:
Literacy Endorsement (unless you hold a Reading K-8, Reading K-12 or Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement) Timeline:
Teachers who were certified on or before 8/1/2025 have until 8/1/2028 to obtain the literacy endorsement. Teachers who certify after 8/1/2025 will have 3 years from certificate issuance to obtain the literacy endorsement. Teachers who graduate from AZ colleges in 2025 should have completed the coursework and should have the certificate on their licenses.
