Faculty Associate – Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Up to seven part‑time positions for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Fixed‑term, 1–2 sessions per fall or spring, non‑benefits‑eligible, .40 FTE maximum.
LocationTempe campus, Arizona State University.
DescriptionThe successful candidate(s) will teach in‑person or online courses, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. The teaching load and salary are based upon qualifications and assigned load. Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple non‑benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.
Essential FunctionsThe candidate must contribute to the Department’s mission in the area of teaching and must be able and willing to bring their management and strategic management experience to undergraduate business students.
Working Environment- Activities performed in an environmentally controlled classroom setting, subject to extended periods of standing, lecturing, and facilitating classroom activities.
- Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.
- Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional activities require the ability to quickly change.
- A graduate degree in the field of business.
- Potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills.
- A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional experience and/or academic experience within the business profession with an active learning agenda.
- Potential for or demonstrated excellence in teaching management and strategic management courses.
- Significant service and professional contributions to the business profession.
- Experience with training and industry partnerships.
