Career And Technical Education Professional Development Facilitator
Facilitates standards alignment. Designs, develops and facilitates professional development aligned with the District Strategic Plan, District Learning Initiatives, and current Career and Technical Education standards and requirements. Develop, compile, and deliver resources to support implementation standards. Provides CTE teachers with support as needed in the areas of assessments, industry certifications, state reporting of CTE data, CTE student organizations, marketing of CTE programs and other CTE initiatives.

Training and
Experience:
Master's degree Five years of experience teaching in a Business and Applied Program Programs CTE area at Secondary level Instructional leadership (PLC Lead, Department Chair, Academic Coach, TOA)
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
Valid Arizona CTE Teaching Certificate with appropriate Subject Areas Valid IVP AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Knowledge of:
State standards Professional learning communities Formative assessment Knowledge or experience in facilitating adult learners Knowledge of CTE regulations and functions
Skill In:
Articulates curriculum standards. Comprehends literacy and can articulate strategies teachers can use to increase students' literacy skills. Appreciates data-driven decision-making and how it relates to program development, implementation, and assessment.
ADA and Other Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require climbing, crawling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, reaching, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
