Position Summary
The Student Services Technician is a key member of the Student Engagement and Recruitment Team (SERT) and plays a vital role in supporting the college's strategic enrollment goals. The technician will work with the director, site coordinators, and success coaches to support the admissions and enrollment of dual enrollment students (high school students taking college courses). Admission and registration are primarily in-person with partnering high schools located across the valley during school hours.
EssentialFunctions
- Provides admissions and enrollment support of dual enrollment students (90% of time) by utilizing the Student Information System.
- Supports early college activities such as outreach and customer service to students via text, phone, or email (10% of time).
- At least one year of experience in secondary or higher education.
- Demonstrated experience working with students.
- Customer service experience with use of technology.
- Good to have: experience using a student information system to complete processes.
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Must be local to Tempe, AZ. Candidates must be able to start within two weeks of an offer and be available for in‑person interviews within one week of posting closure.
