Job Description
Responsible for providing classroom assistance/instruction for children who have special needs. Implementing behavior plans for students. Attending team meetings to problem solve. Collecting data on interventions. Creating and implementing support for students with disabilities.
Job Qualifications- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year experience working either in a school or with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties.
- Experience supervising children preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information confidential.
- Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed.
- Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
School Year: 26/27
Hours per week: 30
Days per school year: 194
Position part‑times:
- 18 Hours – Resource Instructional Aide
- 12 Hours – Lunch/Playground Aide
Resource Assistant Band – Support A12 – $18.11/hr (entry level Support Salary Schedule)
Lunch Duty – $15.25/hour
