Senior Health Plan Educator

• Design, develop, and deliver internal and external training programs for Banner Plan Network
• Lead innovative health plan curriculum design aligned with regulatory compliance, member safety guidelines, and clinical standards
• Partner with health plan leadership, clinical educators, and subject-matter experts to translate clinical protocols into learning pathways
• Assess training needs using collaboration with department leaders and performance data analysis
• Maintain and update curriculum for policy and regulatory changes
• Establish metrics and feedback loops to evaluate training effectiveness and impact on staff performance and member care outcomes
• Coordinate training schedules, track employee certifications, and monitor training budgets
• Travel across Arizona locations to deliver in-person training, launch evidence-based curriculum, and conduct practical application workshops
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to staff development, AHCCCS contract requirements, and RFPs

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Instructional Design, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• 4+ years of specialized training and curriculum development experience in healthcare, ed-tech, or a related field
• At least 2+ years of experience specifically within a healthcare or clinical setting
• One certification in an evidence-based practice such as Trauma-Informed Care, Grief & Loss, Cultural Competency & Diversity, Crisis De-escalation, Motivational Interviewing, ASIST 12, Safe Talk, or Suicide Intervention (QPR)
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, effective educational content
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience with adult learning principles and training delivery methods
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical procedures, software systems, adult learning theories, and hands-on training
• Proficiency with industry-standard authoring tools and Learning Management Systems, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate
• Ability to travel to and/or from facilities and off-site locations
• Master’s degree preferred
• Preferred experience as a healthcare, managed care, insurance, or regulatory subject-matter expert
• Preferred experience with instructional design, adult learning methodologies, eLearning platforms, webinar facilitation, and multimedia presentation development
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual training platforms, and multimedia content creation tools

Demonstrates expertise in designing and delivering training programs within healthcare settings, focusing on curriculum development, regulatory compliance, and adult learning principles. Proficient in utilizing authoring tools and Learning Management Systems to create engaging educational content and assess training effectiveness.
