The Adjunct Welding Instructor reports directly to the Associate Dean of Instruction, CTE Programs
, and works under the supervision of full-time faculty. This role is responsible for enhancing student learning through hands-on instruction, lab demonstrations, and classroom guidance that aligns with established curriculum and course materials.

Requesting Custom Metal Fabrication Services

This is a temporary, part-time position, scheduled semester by semester based on program needs. The position does not work between semesters and may require non-traditional hours
, including evenings and weekends.

• Instruct assigned welding courses as scheduled by the department.
• Deliver engaging classroom presentations, labs, and demonstrations.
• Assess student performance accurately and impartially, providing constructive feedback to improve skills.

• Maintain adherence to class schedules and attendance standards.
• Stay current with welding industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding student information.
• Remain available for student consultation and academic support.
• Perform all duties in compliance with MCC’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
