Job Description:

Salary: $50,000 per year Access ASU is dedicated to increasing access to higher education and preparing Arizona students for success through family engagement and strategic K–12 education and community partnerships. Access ASU’s programs and initiatives are designed to ensure Arizona students graduate high school ready to thrive in college and the 21st-century workforce.

The Coordinator is a member of Outreach Experiences, a team within Access ASU, and supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of K–12 outreach and pre-college programs that promote college readiness, career-connected learning, and access to higher education. Responsibilities include coordinating outreach events, workshops, cohort-based programs, and summer programming; managing program logistics and communications; and maintaining relationships with students, families, schools, community partners, and ASU colleges and departments.

The Coordinator may serve as a lead for Access ASU programs and initiatives and support ongoing engagement with students and families as they progress toward college enrollment.

This position plays an important role in advancing Access ASU’s mission through hands-on program coordination, relationship building, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment that values innovation and service.

This position reports to the Assistant Director and is primarily based on the Tempe campus, with regular travel to other ASU campuses and community sites throughout metropolitan Phoenix.

Essential Duties:

Outreach Programming and Student Engagement Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and programming that promote college readiness, career exploration, and postsecondary pathways for K–12 students and families.

Coordinate and support outreach events, college readiness programs, and visits for school and community partners.

Represent Access ASU at campus, school, and community events.

Cohort Program Coordination Coordinate and implement cohort-based outreach programs that engage students over multiple years.

Develop curriculum, activities, and experiences that support leadership development, academic exploration, and college readiness.
