Principal Account Manager | National Recruiting Manager for Architectural & Engineering Talent

This firm s expertise extends beyond traditional MEP engineering to include fire and life safety, information and communication technology, commissioning, and energy services
This position manages conceptual design for specified projects. In addition, this role manages a larger group of engineers, responsible for achieving project goals and objectives.
What you’ll do- May establish department objectives based on company strategic goals
- Ensures engineering standards are maintained and followed
- Provides design and engineering support to other departments as needed
- Services as design expert at project team meetings
- Prepares complex preliminary redline design layouts for estimating
- Performs more complex calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, etc.
- Performs site inspections to determine compliance with construction documents and resolves design issues during construction phase
- Mastery knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as all design engineering aspects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communication with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong public speaking ability
- Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel
- Four-year degree in Engineering or related field
- Licensed PE required
