Job Description

Core Responsibilities
  • Execute project work appropriate for experience level related to due diligence, asbestos, lead paint, and related environmental consulting areas.
  • Prepare or review reports by assisting with data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation, and comparison to state and/or federal environmental regulatory standards.
  • Positively interact with internal and external clients, service partners, and contractors.
  • Work closely with local management to develop new clients and expand services provided to existing clients.
  • Actively participate in professional and technical organizations appropriate for core skill set and client needs.
  • Promote a safety-first culture that values proactive measures and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other team members toward a common goal of providing client-centric services with high quality interactions and deliverables.

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or other applied science
  • 5-7+ years of experience, including a combination of project management, field work, data evaluation, technical writing, and QA/QC data review in the environmental consulting field
  • Working knowledge of procedures and methodologies related to due diligence, site investigation, asbestos/lead paint sampling and abatement oversight
  • Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and EPA Lead Inspector
  • Experience with client management, contract management, business development, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements.
  • Experience with environmental consulting and project management in Arizona.
  • Experience writing Phase I ESAs with complex historical and current uses.
  • Experience writing Asbestos Surveys, Lead Inspection Risk Assessment and Abatement oversight reports.
  • Experience writing proposals.
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER training and 8-hour annual refresher.
