Overview
This role provides advanced engineering services and technical support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems across global semiconductor manufacturing facilities and large-scale greenfield fabrication construction projects. The position works closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure high-quality execution, innovation, and sustainability throughout all phases of design and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical system development and construction activities for large-scale greenfield semiconductor fabrication projects, ensuring delivery aligned with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute electrical engineering strategies across multiple project phases.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve engineering standards, technical specifications, and best-known methods (BKMs) with an emphasis on innovation, reliability, and sustainability.
- Conduct design and build reviews, provide technical feedback, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulatory requirements.
- Support cost modeling and schedule development, coordinate external consultants, and validate capacity and infrastructure planning assumptions.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, driving consistency, standardization, and alignment across a global manufacturing network.
- Analyze electrical system designs for performance, efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization using benchmarking, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Contribute to global initiatives related to sustainability, system reliability, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Typically 4–10+ years of experience within the semiconductor industry, facilities engineering, or large-scale industrial construction environments.
- Self-directed professional with a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing operations and facility systems.
- Technical expertise in semiconductor electrical infrastructure, including high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple complex work streams simultaneously.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with a service-oriented, stakeholder-focused approach.
