Akkodis is seeking a Engineering Support Specialist for a 6+ months Contract position with a client located in Tempe, Arizona
Pay Range: $20-25/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job DescriptionBe part of an engineering team that is defining the future products. You will work closely with engineering and project management leadership, and members of the Hardware Management team managing hardware supporting New Product Development (NPD) and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP). Additionally, you may be working with engineering leadership and members of the Data Management team associated with supplier hardware certification documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform two daily runs to deliver hardware
- Supporting the Hardware Management team conducting and expediting NPD hardware movement at the Honeywell Tempe site
- Supporting the Data Management team conducting NPD supplier hardware certification packages.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED (General Educational Development)
- Team building and collaboration
- Knowledge of SAP system
- Willingness to grow and learn more advanced aspects on the Hardware Management team
- Support NPD assembly and test teams
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
