OverviewWe’re looking for a Chemical Process Engineer in Tempe, AZ who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
- Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
- Coordinate on designs with equipment vendors.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Tempe, AZ
- Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role
- Understanding of hazardous material storage handling codes and standards
- Experience in semiconductor facilities systems design
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regions
- Passion for engineering and developing solutions
The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
