We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Tempe, Arizona office.

• Perform detailed structural design, analysis, engineering calculations, and assist in the development of construction drawings and specifications for Water/Wastewater projects.
• Conduct structural investigations and assist in the preparation of reports and cost estimates.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
• Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mathcad, TEDDS or similar analytical software.
• Experience with SAP
  2000, STAAD or similar finite element software analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar detailing and drawing production.
• Ability to work in a team environment with studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction for a wide variety of projects.
• Possess analytical and organizational skills to support multiple projects at a time.
• Ability to learn, listen, adapt, and take ownership of work.
• Attention to detail, self‑directed learning, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate work with other disciplines and production staff.
• Willingness to try new things and be forward‑thinking, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering.
