Job DescriptionAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems. You will design and implement custom mechanical tooling, oversee manufacturing and installation processes, coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise an engineering group responsible for mechanical systems and equipment design, including staffing, mentoring, development, and budget adherence.
- Lead and execute engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of product releases and prompt resolution of complex issues.
- Integrate engineering resources with cross‑functional teams to meet objectives and product goals.
- Interface with internal and external customers regarding complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure projects meet predetermined requirements, product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timing.
- Generate and define product specifications and coordinate engineering development.
- Allocate work to subordinate staff, providing professional development and maximizing productivity.
- Document all phases of projects and report necessary information to functional areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety, engineering documentation, patents, confidentiality, and company policies.
- Analyze situations or data, reviewing relevant factors.
- Manages assignments with clear objectives, recommends policy changes, and reports to management.
- Provides direction to employees, administers policies affecting subordinates.
- Exercises judgment within procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
- Delays in decisions or failure to achieve results will cause schedule delays.
- Gains cooperation of others, presents technical information on projects or schedules.

The salary will be based on location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonus and stock award.
