** Work Flexibility:*
* Hybrid: candidates must reside within commuting distance of Tempe, AZ and be able to work onsite several days per week.

** What You Will Do*
* + Design, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision.

+ Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions.

+ Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance.

+ Use various tools and equipment to fabricate, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot fixtures, tooling, and equipment in support of engineering development, testing, and process improvement activities.

+ Identify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes.

+ Apply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices.

+ Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects from concept through launch.

** What You Will Need*
* ** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

+ Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience.

+ Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.

+

Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

+ Familiarity with risk management and quality systems in a regulated environment.

+ Proficiency in engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
