Distribution Designer; Natural Gas

Overview

Volt is hiring a remote Distribution Designer (Natural Gas).

• Design and plan natural gas pipeline systems.
• Create and update base drawings, piping plans, and bills of materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with teams in surveying, right-of-way, environmental, and engineering disciplines.
• Analyze engineering data and customer requirements to develop efficient layouts.
• Prepare construction prints and permit drawings.
• Support field crews with technical documentation and design clarification.

• An associate’s degree in drafting or CAD.
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience with drafting natural gas pipelines.

Pay Range: $28 - $43 per hour.

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
