The person in this role will work from the Medtronic facility located in Tempe, Arizona.

The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing test systems used in production. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems and test tooling at the component level, identifying root causes of failures, and recommending design improvements to enhance reliability and performance. The engineer partners with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage test system repairs and ensure timely resolution of issues.

As a subject matter expert, the role leads continuous improvement initiatives for test equipment and processes, analyzes test data to define necessary changes to equipment or procedures, and supports implementation across manufacturing. The position also oversees validation and deployment of test systems, including executing and documenting IQ, OQ, and PQ activities prior to release to production sites.

+ As subject matter expert lead continuous improvement project and implement on test systems

+ Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures.

+ Perform test system validation (IQ, OQ , PQ) and deployment to manufacturing sites

+ Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.

+ Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

+ Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.

+ Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

** MUST HAVE**  (Minimum Qualifications)

+ 4+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree

** NICE TO HAVE**  (Preferred Qualifications)

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
