Job Description
Join our dynamic team to contribute to state‑of‑the‑art data center building automation and beyond. As a Controls Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, troubleshooting and remediating non‑conformances, and collaborating with internal engineers and clients to enhance the efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing. Your expertise in defining and implementing programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations will be essential in the testing, on‑site commissioning, and qualification of control systems.
Responsibilities- Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
- Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non‑conformances.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and clients to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing.
- Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
- Conduct testing and on‑site commissioning and qualification of control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
- Strong automation and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with building automation systems.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of HMI and Siemens PLC.
Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering degree in mechanical, systems, automation, or electrical engineering, and hands‑on experience.
- Flexible schedule and adaptability.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Experience in a team environment.
- Eager to learn.
This role is based onsite, M‑F with opportunity for overtime.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.42 - $45.00/hr.
