Controls Systems Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Controls/Systems Engineers to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of advanced control systems. The role involves executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, troubleshooting non-conformances, and working collaboratively with internal engineers and clients to enhance efficiency, product quality, and profitability in process manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
- Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non-conformances.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and clients to deliver state-of-the-art control systems.
- Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
- Conduct testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems.
- Travel onsite, 40% required
Essential
Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming and PLC-based control systems.
- Experience with automation and process documentation.
- Skills in site, material, and equipment management.
- Ability to assemble automated equipment.
- Eager to learn and lead!
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Rockwell.
- 3+ years of experience in GMP/Pharma/industrial/data environments.
- 3+ years of experience integrating equipment, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to safety protocols on construction/project sites.
- Ability to execute assignments with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:
This role involves a dynamic work environment with 30%-50% travel, primarily within Arizona and the West Coast. The projects mainly focus on data centers, with opportunities expanding into life sciences and power utilities. The position requires working with power monitoring and building management systems, translating complex systems into integrated networks. Travel benefits and additional compensation for extended hours are provided. Long-term growth opportunities are available, with the chance to stay on current projects or transition to new ones as needed.

Pay and Benefits:
