Pipe Stress Engineer - Hybrid

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer for a Hybrid position with a Major Engineering Firm located in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

This role is for an engineer excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks within a multi-discipline, highly interactive team. This search is open to candidates from the US and Canada for hybrid or remote roles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks
• Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficient in pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II
• This role will require someone to be on a client job site a minimum of 2 days/week
• Strong communication skills to successfully navigate working with others onsite

Desired skills:

• Experience working in construction environments including field verifications
• Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis
• Working knowledge with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD

Pay Rate : Upto 42.44 per hour
