Electrical Designer

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Electrical Designer - Remote for a contract position with a Global Professional Services Firm located in Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ. This is an 8+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world-class designs for well-known clients on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The selected candidate will perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for advanced facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files
• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems
• Deliver complex design packages

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 4 years of electrical design experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Revit design experience with strong skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Desired skills:

• Two-year Associate's Degree in a relevant field
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements
• At least 2 years of semiconductor experience
