Pipe Stress Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Stress Engineer to support the design and analysis of piping systems for industrial and commercial facility projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipe stress analysis, piping design, and engineering project execution. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this role requires regular interaction with project teams and stakeholders on a client site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pipe stress analysis and support design for industrial and commercial projects.
- Utilize AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, and related engineering tools to develop and validate piping designs.
- Develop engineering solutions that meet project scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
- Support the design and development of equipment, facilities, systems, and components.
- Conduct field verifications and coordinate with project stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure technical accuracy and timely completion of engineering deliverables.
- Participate in design reviews and project coordination activities.
- Support project execution while maintaining technical quality and schedule commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and CAESAR II.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications.
- Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis.
- Experience using Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
- Experience supporting industrial or commercial facility projects.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work schedule.
- Minimum of 2 days per week onsite at a client job site.
